The Dutch certifier SKAL is an inspection organization for organic production methods. SKAL's mission is to promote the proper indications of products that have been cultivated according to sustainable production methods by means of supervising, testing, inspecting, assessing and certifying them. Chamraj’s Orange Pekoe (OP) grade received the Best Tea Award under “Black Tea” category at the World Tea Expo 2008 at Las Vegas, US. Professional tea tasters judged the entries by the brewed color, aroma, mouth-feel and harmony. Some 200 teas from 30 companies worldwide competed and these teas came out as the flying winner!
