The Consultant is a tea-farmer himself. Born to a tea growing family owning a tea-factory in India, he has over 30 man-years of combined experience, right from nursing baby tea plants to international merchandising of tea products. He has been associated with various phases of the tea supply chain - like tea planting, fertilizing, tea-leaf plucking, withering, crushing for CTC or Orthodox tea manufacture, oxidizing as per requirement, tasting & grading for tea-auctions, packaging in bulk and in tea bags, flavoring and blending, distributing and also merchandising at large retail stores in the USA. A regular participant at the World Tea Expo and leading trade shows across the USA, he is a big proponent of tea as a health drink.

He also holds a degree in Engineering and a Masters Degree in Business Administration. When he's not talking tea, he consults with major US corporations on Business Process improvement projects. Performance tracking and enhancement is his core competence. His successful approach to starting a business from a third eye, real-world perspective, is a major contribution to the tea community.
